First toy
[edit]If his first toy was a Paddington Bear then he would have at least 16 years old as the bear first appeared in 1958. - Good point. Apparently the first stuffed toy wasn't even made until the 70s. I will look into this in the meantime and see if I can get some clarification. Melonbob (talk) 05:46, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- I reached out to Hendrik Ball and apparently the AMA process was handled by a visitor to Rowett's home. Ball claims that Rowett confirmed he had a panda toy which squeaked, so perhaps the interviewer misheard or misremembered this as "paddington". It may be a problem citing this as I only have an email as a source. In the meantime, I'll correct the paragraph. Melonbob (talk) 00:11, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
