• Move to Third Way (Germany) per User:Number 57 and User:Rreagan007. The current title is an amalgamation of English and German, as English does not use a period in ordinal numbers like German does. If the article is going to have an English title it should be "The Third Way" like the party itself spells it, but Third Way (Germany) is better suited to Wikipedia naming conventions. Name change from Third Way (Germany) to Der Dritte Weg

I have done an analytic search and it appears that the current article name is not the most commonly used one.

Having no disambiguation would also be more preferable in addition to WP:COMMONNAME. Donenne (talk) 04:03, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

Flawed search method since almost no article or website will put the "(Germany)" after "Third Way", but I do agree, it does seem like "Third Path" is by far the most common name. The original move was done because "Third Way" is the official translation used by the party itself but in terms of WP:COMMONNAME it should be moved back to "Third Path", that I would support, the German name I would strongly oppose however as the English version has common name backing and English language titles are clearly preferred on enwiki. The disambiguation link would naturally be removed with a hypothetical name change. Frijfuhs (talk) 08:39, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
