Charts

[edit]

I know the album was very successful in America, but where did it chart? I know Electric Warrior was a #32, did The Slider make the top ten? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.107.210.0 (talk) 13:51, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Slider charted at 17 according to Billboard's charts on allmusic. I've added it to the article. Andrzejbanas (talk) 20:05, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ringo directed a movie with T.Rex in it, in 1972(i think) and he took the photo that's on the album cover! That's all the info I've got at the moment. Andrzejbanas (talk) 20:05, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dear Wikipedia Editors,

I am writing to request a factual update to the "Personnel" and technical credits section on the Wikipedia page for the T. Rex album, 'The Slider'. I am the individual currently credited on the page as "Steve Little – Stage Manager / PA to Marc / Roadie."

My full legal name is Stephen Stanley Little, and I went by Steve Little professionally. I would like to formally request that my entry on the page be updated to reflect the verified progression of my 3.5-year career timeline with Marc Bolan and the band:

1. Tour Roadie (Early 1972): Covered the UK, European, and Scandinavian circuits. This start date is verified by independent print media in the June 1972 issue of Beat Instrumental magazine (in the article "Marc Bolan: Top of the Guitar Parade" by Steve Turner), which explicitly logs my arrival as a roadie three months prior to publication. 2. Stage Manager (1972 World Tours): Promoted to Stage Manager prior to launching the international and world tours (including Japan). This is the role credited on the physical album sleeve. 3. Personal Assistant to Marc Bolan: Served as Marc's personal assistant (PA) during non-touring periods, based out of his flat at Bilton Towers, Marble Arch, London.

This timeline and historical credit are further verified by the international art registry at Christie's Auction House (Lot 3613132) for Marc's burgundy satin "Easy Action" jumpsuit, which explicitly lists the legal provenance as: "Provenance: Steve Little, T.Rex roadie for three and a half years."

Please could a volunteer editor update my personnel listing on 'The Slider' page to reflect this complete and accurate historical record?

Warm regards, Steve Little (Stephen Stanley Little) Shamu01 (talk) 15:37, 7 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
