Plot rewrite?

I hope it is ok that I added a tag to rewrite the Plot section of this article. I had to look up what to do as I'm trying not to be a pest at the Tea House asking a bunch of questions back to back.

I made an attempt at improving the section. It started off as one long story without paragraphs. I split it up where it made sense. While doing that I noticed a lot of issues with spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure. It is impossible to follow in many areas and it bounces from past and present tense. I think it is best that someone with experience and knowledge of the book take over at this point. The easiest thing would be to do a complete rewrite.
