Potential Colchester venue
[edit]Note to future editors: before I started editing recently, the page included an unreferenced claim that there would be a Colchester venue due to open in 2023. I found references to this being a potential plan for 'Tollgate Village' near Stanway, Essex (see these sources [1][2][3][4]). In the last of these sources, it indicated that it might start being built 'next year' (i.e. 2022), but I cannot find any further information about the fate of this development. I thought I should put this here just so it doesn't get lost. Sparkledriver (talk) 17:22, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- I think I've figured out what to do about this: I've found that this Tollgate Village development is still going to happen, and a local newspaper reported that 'an eight-screen cinema' (i.e. the description hasn't changed since the June 2021 article) is still part of the plan as of 3rd June 2023.[5] Thus I'll add it to the Future Locations section of the article, without a specific completion date given.
