Please explain problem with notability. More than half the named trains at List of named passenger trains of the United Kingdom each have their own articles. Why shouldn't the 'Inter City' pass the notability test. Isn’t Allen, Cecil J. (1953). Titled Trains of Great Britain. Ian Allan. a reliable secondary source??
