There needs to be a disambiguation page as The Fool Killer is also a short story of note by O. Henry. Likely the source material for the film. Could someone create a disambiguation page and list the short story as an alternative to the film? 47.35.201.197 (talk) 15:05, 9 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

A disambiguation page is a tool for differentiating among articles with similar or identical titles. There isn’t an article for the O. Henry story, “The Fool-Killer”, therefore no disambiguation is needed. The article now says (it didn’t yet in 2017) that the screenplay was based on a novel, but it could just as easily have been based on the Stephen Vincent Benet story or the figure from Appalachian folklore. 2603:9001:4500:1C09:4AB:426:F25A:AEFD (talk) 16:31, 5 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
