"First costumed supervillain"
[edit]Concerning the inbtro's claim of this serial's The Lightning as "the very first costumed supervillaijn": I respectfully bring up the Rattler from Mystery Mountain a 1934 Mascot Pictures serial. He definitely appeared on camera in a costume/disguise, played not by the actor playing the man ultimately revealed to be his true identity, but by an uncredited Edmund Cobb, according to some sources (including Glut and Harmon's The Great Movie Serials, IIRC). --Tbrittreid (talk) 22:05, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
incorrect link for Hugh Sothern
[edit]the link you have goes to a different actor of the same name who died five years prior to the making of The Fighting Devil Dogs.
