Hello,

I'm 99% sure that the external URLs listed in this article aren't the correct ones. The "Official website" link leads to Davidson County's Dispatch news outlet (with a submission link for obituaries and a number of other features I doubt would be on a center-right political website), while the URL in the infobox links to The Athletic, a sports website. I think this is the proper link.

I'll defer to other editors, because political website entries aren't really my specialty, but I just wanted to note this! -MoreExtra (talk) 01:29, 20 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Right-of-center

[edit]

I changed conservative to right-of-center in the first sentence (diff) because conservative does not tell us much, i.e., it has become an imprecise adjective. The NY Times describes The Dispatch as right-of-center,[1] and media bias raters use lean right[2] or somewhat conservative[3].

If other editors prefer a similar term, such as slightly to moderately conservative, that's fine by me, just not the vague conservative.

Note: Allsides is categorized as No Consensus (yellow shading) at WP:RSP, but appears as "Unreliable" (pink shading) in the reference list below. I don't know which is right. I intentionally did not use Ad Fontes or Media Bias/Fact Check b/c they are listed as unreliable at WP:RSP.

I've changed the descriptor to center-right, which is a shorter and more common term with the same definition. — Newslinger talk 16:17, 25 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
