“Jackanory“
[edit]The story was adapted in five daily parts for the BBC’s early evening story-telling slot, “Jackanory”, in 1971, with actor Al Mancini as the reader. I think it was repeated at least once, possibly in 1973. Jock123 (talk) 22:43, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
