Most of the info I've been able to research on this page is either unverifiable or provably false. According to multiple full lists of nominees , this artist's alleged Grammy nomination in 2010 for spoken word is totally fabricated. Taylor Bright was also verifiably not a cast member of the 2004 U.S. Tour of Annie, that role was split between Tahlia Ellie and Jenna Seasholtz for performances at Philadelphia's Walnut Theatre. Likewise, Annie Warbucks was played by Marissa O'Donnell in the show's 30th Anniversary National Tour. There is also no evidence that the DJ Michael Rizzo ever remixed any of her singles, and even if such a remix did exist it never reached the Billboard Dance Club chart according to archives. The website that acts for the main source for most of the info here is also no longer active, in addition to being a biased primary source. With all the false info and unprovable claims removed, this article becomes a blurb about a YouTube video with less that 150 thousand views. Elevenevilworms (talk) 20:21, 7 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

I've forgotten my password, but this is me (Elevenevilworms) replying to myself to clarify something;
The source for her alleged Grammy nomination is extremely dubious, but does technically exist. Taylor Bright contributed a short poem to the spoken word album Healthy Food For Thought, and this album itself was nominated for a Grammy. Taylor herself was never specifically acknowledged as a nominee. All of the other info here is correct, but I figured I would make that clarification, since I'm the one interested in accuracy here. ~2026-32027-68 (talk) 14:43, 29 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'm seeing a mixture of reliable sources, as well as the Deseret "news" source. Should we edit this down, or send it to WP:AfD? I'm leaning keep this if the deprecated sources are removed, Elevenevilworms. Bearian (talk) 19:20, 31 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
I will note that the Deseret source is actually a Philadelphia Inquirer article (i.e., local to her) that was picked up not only by papers spread out throughout the US, also in Canada, so that is international coverage. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 23:04, 31 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
"Striped socks" definitely did hit the Billboard dance club chart. I have placed reference. I did not check every week of the run, but I did verify that for one week it was at what was listed as peak, which I have sourced; that it was on the chart for 11 weeks, for which I've listed a source, and that it was not on the chart the week after the 11th, which I haven't sourced because I don't have proof that it didn't pop up some other week. The chart does list Taylor's name.
The article does not claim that she played the title role in Annie on the national tour. It says that she was in the cast, and the title role is not the only part for a girl in that show. If you click on the Full List button on the source you used to say she didn't play Annie, you'll see that she played July (and you will find her listed again on the cast recording credits). As for the Walnut Street Theater, that list was clearly made up before a more-than-a-month run; it is certainly not impossible that she got called in in some form. (That does not mean that we have the statement sufficiently sourced to include it.)
The nomination for Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album for Children may not have announced all of the folks who recorded the sixty tracks, but it is indeed a recording artist's award, not a producers award. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 22:49, 31 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
This is a video taken during the production of 13 (musical) at the Goodspeed in 2008, and while the names of the case are not listed, it does have someone that appears to be her. At this point, having verified some of the claims from it, citing some roles from her now-deleted web page seems to be reasonable, as the additional roles are not particuarly boastful. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 00:39, 1 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Additionally -- you were checking if she was in Annie at the Walnut Street Theatre... which is not the show that this claims she was in, nor that her resumé claims she was in. Rather, the resumé she was in its sequel, Annie Warbucks, which played at the Walnut Street Theatre in 2004. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 02:26, 1 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
