Zero Trust (ZTNA)?
[edit]Is Tailscale Zero Trust platform ("out-of-the-box") or it can be made Zero trust? It's an important differentiation.
this first party source and this one seem to imply that it can be implemented but it's not the core working principle, another first party source: "A Zero Trust identity-based connectivity platform that replaces your legacy...", not, not but can be implemented; : "Tailscale supports a hybrid configuration of Zero Trust and subnet routes". So which one is it? It'd be good to cover that in the article, whichever it is. ~2026-33007-63 (talk) 13:38, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
