Hi,

I work for this organisation, and a number of things in the article are out of date. I understand that it's preferable not to edit directly, so I'm listing them here in the hope that another user would be kind enough to make the changes please:

- The organisation's name has changed to 'Tactical Tech' instead of 'Tactical Technology Collective', and it is now permanently based since 2012 in Berlin (https://tacticaltech.org/#/about)
- The following projects are no longer active: Holistic Security, XYZ
- The links for references 5 and 7 are broken as these pages are no longer active
- Instead of these broken links, it would be helpful for viewers trying to understand Tactical Tech's work to be referred to the project pages of the four active projects: https://theglassroom.org/, https://datadetoxkit.org/en/home, https://exposingtheinvisible.org/ and https://ourdataourselves.tacticaltech.org/ (containing Data and Activism, Data and Politics, Data and You)

The list of activities also stops a few years back. Important activities since then include:

· The White Room Berlin (2016): https://www.sueddeutsche.de/kultur/digitalisierung-verhalten-sie-sich-ganz-normal-1.2904948#1
· The Glass Room Community Edition (2017): https://theglassroom.org/the-glass-room-community-edition
· A Voter’s Guide: 7 Tips to Detox Your Data (2019): https://datadetoxkit.org/en/privacy/voting
· The Glass Room San Francisco (2019): https://www.cnet.com/news/big-tech-shattered-in-glass-room-art-exhibit/
· Exposing the Invisible: The Kit (2019): https://kit.exposingtheinvisible.org/thekit.html#
· Youth Project (2020): https://tacticaltech.org/#/news/youth-project

Hopefully this is all neutral/factual information and contributes to a better understanding of the organisation!

Thanks

[edit]

The article was flagged to edit the first section on audience, but this section does not really describe an audience for the organization, instead it describes why a broad audience is targeted. Clarity is needed from someone knowledgeable about the target audience Noah.shroyer (talk) 06:46, 24 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
