Assessment comment

[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:TECO Energy/CommentsTalk:TECO Energy/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The final sentence in the article references "TECO, Inc." which is a different company, not TECO Energy. The reference points to a company headquartered in Fort Wayne Indiana, not TECO Energy (which is headquartered in Tampa Florida). TECO Inc. is a maker of aerial lifts and digger derricks; TECO Energy is an energy company. I will remove the last sentence of the article.

Post-Emera Acquisition

[edit]

Curious as to when it will be appropriate to remove financial information for the old, Pre-Emera, stand-alone, TECO Engery, Inc. The links are currently dead, and while there's no reason to believe they are/were inaccurate, it will become difficult to independently confirm these numbers. In addition, the numbers become less and less relevant with passing years.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.168.21.186 (talk) 22:15, 7 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
