Correction of incorrect text or diagram

[edit]

NH2 / H2N groups referenced in opening paragraph and molecular diargram do not match. Which is it?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C5:B91E:D101:4C87:335E:23EF:45B9 (talk) 17:28, 20 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Removal of (possibly) incorrect information.

[edit]

The article claimed that most US nukes used TATB. This is contradicted an article from LLNL saying that "the conventional HE in older weapon systems can be sensitive to extreme shocks," and going on to explain they would possibly incorporate it in the W78 LEP. <ref>  Preceding unsigned comment added by Joelwilliamson (talkcontribs) 14:02, 10 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Any info on the detonation velocity at 1.93 g/mL?

A 7% change in density makes a big difference. Octaazacubane (talk) 08:42, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Nonlinear Optical Properties of TATB: a new paradigm for molecular and material design

[edit]

TATB has become in the early nineties a paradigm of octupolar molecules for quadratic nonlinear optics. Probably hundreds of papers have been published since the inception of the topic ny Joseph Zyss in a series of highly cited papers, the first one in 1994 in the Journal of Chemical Physics under "rotational invariance etc...". I can send more information when and if needed. ~2026-40499-26 (talk) 04:11, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
