This sentence: The current palace was built by Marie Eleonore von Lehndorff née von Dönhoff after an older building had been destroyed by Polish Tatars in the Second Northern War in 1656

I'm not 100% sure but I think that the Tatars that destroyed the building and raided East Prussia during this time were NOT "Polish Tatars" (i.e. Lipkas) but rather regular ol' Tatars who just happened to be allied with Poland at the time and in service of the Polish state. I can't read the source so I'm not sure what it says.VolunteerMarek 02:38, 6 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
