Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --OccasionalEditor (talk) 21:32, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
Sycamore Partners recently purchased a large multinational retail corporation, in addition to smaller businesses which it already owns. The page needs work, but since interest is likely going to grow (at least in the short-term while there is news coverage of the buyout), it should not be a candidate for speedy deletion.
Error and improper citation
[edit]In the final paragraph “On March 7, 2025, it was announced”. The wiki typist states holiday pay and or pto was ended per citation#40. The linked archived article states nothing of the like. It’s inaccurate and unfactual. Change it. ~2026-13083 (talk) 16:08, 1 January 2026 (UTC)
- Instead of cutting it, I added a cite to show where it occurred. More specifically, "Swetlitz, Ike (12 November 2025). "Walgreens eliminates paid holidays for hourly workers". Los Angeles Times. Archived from the original on 12 Nov 2025. Retrieved 1 January 2026." P37307 (talk) 16:20, 1 January 2026 (UTC)
