Katzrockso, thank you for a nice interesting article which is eligible: long enough, recent enough, well sourced. I even like the hook (which is rare)! I'd drop "once" because it sems to have been so for a while. - There are a few things in the article I'd do differently, - please tell me if you'd agree, - it's not required for DYK. I'd give it an infobox, - check similar articles and adapt from there perhaps. I'd move all references away from the lead to where the facts are mentioned in the body. I'd remove the links to small newspapers which won't get an article easily, and if not that, at least avoid to have two red links to the same one ;) - I also believe that the hook would be more attractive with that postcard image. Thanks for your reply Gerda Arendt and your positive comments! I originally had some sources in the lead because I was still working on making sure that article was following WP:LEADFOLLOWSBODY; I had some details in the lead that weren't mentioned in the body and there were sources that were only in the lead. I will double check that this issue has been resolved and remove the lead sources shortly. I will remove the redlinks, when I was adding the sources I didn't know these didn't have an article. As for an infobox, I am not sure that articles like this usually have them. There's one for Idylease Inn, though it doesn't have too much detail. I have never dealt with infoboxes before so I will try to see if I can mess around with it and see what works.

As for changing the hook, I'm not sure. It thought it was important to highlight that it doesn't exist anymore - I don't think people really know about this historic hotel anymore, the most recent coverage on it is from the 1980s. Thank you, sounds all good, and you made great changes already, I'll watch. (I wrote about a spa place once, Kurhaus, Wiesbaden.) The image is licensed and a good illustration of the period. - Please keep this nomination on your watchlist until it is closed and the hook moved to a prep. You can then watch that prep, and later the queue of the same number where it will land shortly before appearing. The over-all queue has the calendar showing when it will appear. State today?

An interesting article. What is the condition of the site today, 70 years on from it being reported as a meadow? Do the springs still exist? Stronach (talk) 11:00, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

I didn't find any reliable sources that say anything about the current state of the area, unfortunately. I suspect it is probably in a forested area somewhere abandoned; could possibly figure out coordinates and check on Google Maps, but that might veer into WP:OR.
