I think

I think this article really could use some editorial work. It reads itself more like a science research conclusion, than a introduction article. It could also be more neutral, but collecting information about this topic is maybe not bad at the current state. It did some work on the overall text quality and also will look for this in the future. EggshellRobotics (talk) 20:32, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Traffic cone robotics system

It isn't well described how exactly the swarming works; ie is there a "leader robot" giving instructions or do all robots have situational awareness ? Erasing the section "from centralized intelligence to swarm intelligence"

First of all, it contains nonsense.
Second it speaks about future and hypothetical technology. There is a policy about this : Wikipedia:NOR
Third, this really feels like a shameful trick to advertise a book.

We need an additional article or section for swarm drones

There have been quite a number of swarm robotics applications of drones → there really needs to be an article on it (e.g. drone swarm or swarming drones or swarm drones). Or alternatively a section could be added to this page.

Could somebody go ahead with that please?

One recent example is: Super Bowl LI halftime show#Drones.

Definition of drone swarm

Some parts of the article refer to swarms of drones almost as a measure word, for example, in the "Drone swarms" section. However the original definition specifies a lack of central control so how can we clarify this? Exam thunder (talk) 06:48, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
