Buried?

[edit]

One of the things he said was that after the Biscayne Bay islands were wrapped, he buried the neon-pink fabric in a location no one would know, so fragments of the cloth could not be sold commercially. He arranged that the airspace above the islands could not be used when the cloth encircled them. In that way he controlled the photos of the work and preserved its pristine temporality.
