Combine

[edit]

It seems to me that this and Sunset Crater Volcano should be combined.--Curtis Clark 06:04, 4 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Coordinates of volcano

[edit]

This is an interesting issue: should the coordinates of a volcano follow the convention of Wikipedia:WikiProject Mountains and be the highest point of the volcano, or be the center of any summit caldera? This affect many volcano articles across the world: let's discuss at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mountains#Coordinates of volcanos hike395 02:48, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Last Eruption Date

[edit]

There seems to be a conflict in the dates for the last eruption. The infobox states "About 1100 AD", the age of rock is "943 years" (which I think is way to specific) and the body text gives "A final burst of activity in the 13th century...." The Smithsonian GVP lists 1075 ± 25 years. Any suggestions? --Burntnickel (talk) 18:00, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

The eruption dates are outdated. I replaced the dates with those supplied by the GVP. However, there seems to be a discrepancy in the eruption dates - http://www.volcano.si.edu/world/volcano.cfm?vnum=1209-02- Guanlongwucaii (talk) 12:23, 31 May 2009 (UTC)GuanlongwucaiiReply
