Beach Chair is probably not quite the right word for the German "Strandkorb", because it is too ambiguous. In my dictionary I found only an English description rather than a translation into one or two words. I would suggest to use a literal translation of the German word, which would be “beach basket”. Entirely agree to the first sentences, but do not think a translation is required at all, thus have changed all occurences of "beach chair" to "strandkorb". -- H005 12:35, 18 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
The term "korb" rather derives from the material it´s made of and isn´t it maybe better translated "wicker" ?(84.139.199.138 (talk) 11:46, 30 June 2008 (UTC))Reply
