"Luddites"

Mention of luddites section badly needs expansion and clarification. The Luddites were not opposed to stocking frames as they were craftspeople who operated their own stocking frames - but rather were opposed to wide frames in factories owned by non-craftspeople, operated by child labour, and producing much lower grade product that undercut theirs. It is an important point in labour history. I don't have the references to create this section off the top of my head. ~2026-49948-61 (talk) 13:46, 15 September 2026 (UTC)
