Chomsky's criticism of the terms stimulus control and evoke

[edit]

Chomsky wrote a scathing review of Skinner's Verbal Behavior, as part of that he wrote: "Skinner's account of grammar and syntax as autoclitic processes (Chap. 13) differs from a familiar traditional account mainly in the use of the pseudo-scientific terms control or evoke in place of the traditional refer." - http://www.chomsky.info/articles/1967----.htm This article is currently missing a discussion of the critiques of these terms.
