Adding sections

[edit]

I am thinking of adding some sections to this article

  1. Adding to the WORKS section a list of his own books
  2. Then adding a subsection titled: Illustrations for other authors (for example his illustraions for the Liverwurst books with Mercer Mayer and Brave Johny O'Hare by Eleanor B. Heady).

Books list discrepancies

[edit]

What does it mean to be the "author" of famous titles such as Huckleberry Finn (now the first listing)? Some picture book adaptation?

We cite Kellogg LibraryThing for the entire list but there are discrepancies. Checking our source for two of the titles under our bold subheading As Author and Illustrator (which should not be capitalized):

  • Huckleberry Finn -- source now credits Kellogg "(Illustrator, some editions)"
  • Pecos Bill -- source now credits "Laura Robb (Illustrator)"

Undo 2010 vandalism

[edit]

56 months ago, visitor/User: deleted the prose sections 1 Biography and 2 Works. (diff 2010-10-17, spanning two versions).

I restored that prose naively (didn't even read it), but [1] provided specific [ref name=NCBLA] (which had been one External link both 56 molnths ago and last hour) and [2] deleted heading Bibliography so that "Book List:" (see above) is now within section 2 Works. See 56-month differences.

(That "Book List:" as of 2010-10-17 was quite different from ours today, and was credited to Kellogg's website.) --P64 (talk) 23:19, 29 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
