Assessment comment

[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Stephan Savoia/CommentsTalk:Stephan Savoia/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

I edited the summary to correct the spelling of "Stephan's" name but the header still misspells his name. It is Stephan with an "A" not with an e.

Proposed expansion with sourced biography and coverage record

[edit]

Hello,

I am proposing a comprehensive expansion of the Stephan Savoia article to improve its depth, accuracy, and verifiability. The current article is minimal and omits major details about his career, awards, and notable coverage, all of which are now documented with reliable third-party sources.

The proposed version includes:

• A biographical section with education details • A career section detailing over three decades of work for the Associated Press • A chronological list of verifiable notable coverage • Contributions to AP publications • Verified teaching, judging, and leadership roles

All additions are cited with third-party sources including the AP Newsroom, SUNY Potsdam, POYi, NPPA, and Google Books.

I’ve posted the full proposed source text below for review. Please feel free to comment or improve it further. If there are no objections, I’d like to proceed with updating the live article.

Thanks! Thesavy277 (talk) 19:28, 30 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
