Stafford built his home next door the same year? He could watch stage shows from his bedroom? How could he see through the opera house walls? The crowds and noise weren't disturbing? The home is still standing? FloridaArmy (talk) 18:44, 6 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

"In July 1890, the Hope brothers, Marion and Larkin, gunned down Bob Stafford and his brother and business partner, John Stafford, across the street from the opera house at the Nicolai saloon."
