Cremation at Springvale

[edit]

As the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website is frequently cited in wikipedia, may I point out one clash of information. I note the first cremation here is stated to have been in 1905 but the CWGC states that (at least the present building of) Springvale Crematorium, where it commemorates 67 WWII Commonwealth service casualties whose ashes are here, was begun in 1935. Was there more than one crematorium building there?Cloptonson (talk) 12:33, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

May I respectfully ask if Edward Kelaart , a former Captain of the Ceylon ( Sri Lanka ) cricket team be included in the notable interments section please . His achievements are listed on his own Wikipedia page . Thank you . ~2025-42902-67 (talk) 11:26, 25 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
