I thought it worth mentioning though that this article is very misleading. The Splashpower system as demonstrated to me in their Cambridge offices was *not* induction based. It used some weird mat with a matrix of alternating + and - power connectors on it. It required special batteries to use and was more work than a wired PSU IMHO. After their demo (which didn't work though they assured me repeatedly that they did have a working prototype) I asked why they didn't use an induction method as other companies were at the time and got blank looks from the room.
