I’m looking for an elementary reference for the slope definition(s). Help appreciated! Got a dozen articles on colours and spectral characteristics of TNO and Centaurs but they are unnecessarily technical for this stub. The definition of relative slope seems to come from Meech & Jewitt 86 ^[1] (at least this is the oldest I got) but it is given in the context of little relevance to this more general article. 'The slope is typically expressed in percentage increase of reflectance (i.e. reflexivity) per unit of wavelength': what does 'i.e. reflexivity' mean ? that reflexivity is a percentage increase of reflectance ? or is an increase of reflectance ? Is 'reflexivity' appropriately used here ?
