Is spaghettification correct

Wouldn’t the spacetime containing the matter itself “spaghettify”? Therefore how would an astronaut notice anything different? The space they are in is stretching, not just them. 86.93.208.34 (talk) 23:31, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

Pancaking

After several attempts by user 178.66.158.209 (talk · contribs) to add content relating to pancaking, an alleged opposite to the article subject, and after a number of warnings at User talk:178.66.156.135 and User talk:178.66.158.209, I did some reverts , , . Please see WP:sources. Unfortunately it's not clear to me if "spaghettification" is a real word. I've only found very marginal sources that use it. Hawking never uses the term, only "stretched out like spaghetti". Consequently I guess you will not be able to find references for hypothetical spaghettification by neutron stars.
