Labour

[edit]

Prensa Latina says:

Entre los cofundadores se encuentran el Partido Laborista Británico

Is this the Labour Party (UK), the Workers Party of Britain or another? --Error (talk) 10:55, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

There should be no deletion.

[edit]

There enough sources that can be found that confirms Sovintern Existence and notability, Sovintern was a that held speeches from popular and notable figures, so this deletion seems more targeted at the fact, they likely despise the organization or some Political figures who took part, I recommend to continue to article and further develop as time progresses. the deletion discussion can be found here, its not on the talk page of the article being AfD'd Syndilinke (talk) 19:11, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Union of Democratic Socialists

[edit]

Is the Union of Democratic Socialists of Congo the Union for Democracy and Social Progress? -- Error (talk) 22:50, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

the linked source calls the congo section "Union of Democratic Socialists", likely a party that doesn't meet WP:N so lacks a page Syndilinke (talk) 14:08, 29 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

"Left-wing"

[edit]

The article repeatedly states this is a left-wing movement, but most if not all of the participants are in fact nazbols, a far-right ideology that uses leftist imagery and terminology to make itself look more appealing, similarly to why the Nazis called themselves "National Socialists" Scrabcrab (talk) 23:21, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

if the parties call themselves that, then add it to the list but if its your opinion or WP:OR then i'd avoid adding it if i was you Syndilinke (talk) 14:37, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Trimming the infobox ideologies

[edit]

Including every ideology of individual participants in the infobox as representing the whole international is WP:OR. The ideology section should include only ideologies that reliable sources attribute to the international as a whole. Alternatively, if reliable secondary sources describe ideological factions within the international, those may be included. Without such sources, this constitutes WP:OR and may in some cases be WP:UNDUE. If the inclusion of ideological labels raises concerns under WP:OR and WP:UNDUE, the ideology section in the infobox could be removed altogether. The existing purpose statement "International coordination of socialist and left-wing political parties and movements" already provides a sufficient description of the organization for the infobox. ~2026-32470-76 (talk) 16:38, 31 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

I agree, unless reliable sources are found for this part of the infobox, it should be removed. Slodkiszczur (talk) 17:31, 31 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Notable people section

[edit]

In the article, I saw a section on notable people. However, some criteria should be included, as I understand that on Wikipedia, notability is generally established when a person has their own article or when notability is recognized by reliable sources. ~2026-32470-76 (talk) 16:59, 31 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sandinista National Liberation Front

[edit]

The Sandinista National Liberation Front is Nicaraguan, which means it is in central America, a subregion of North America. The participants section labels the Sandinista National Liberation Front as being in South America, this should be changed. ~2026-41840-27 (talk) 07:49, 28 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
