I was thinking if this archived link (as the website in question no longer exists) could be a potential source, as it has members from the 'foundation' of the SSC back in 1972 (while ignoring the predecessors, which have their own archived links separately), when the ACC rebranded as the SSC. Here's the link:

All of the newspapers.com sources provided next to each row, which contain the schools' entrance and exit years from the conference. Hence, multiple newspapers.com refs per row. I can deep dive again into newspapers.com to see if I can find it but I extensively searched to no avail. But, regardless of whether it can be found on newspapers.com or not, I'm still not sold on that archived website passing WP:RS muster. I think a visual membership timeline would be an appealing addition, but my only concern is that the specific years aren't fully vetted. If the timeline gets added, making it very clear above or below the timeline that some of this years are estimated based on best-effort sourcing would probably suffice to mitigate the inaccuracy. I don't think it's necessary to have a timeline, it's a nice-to-have not a need-to-have. I'm just as good leaving it off the page.
