The equivalent North Island facility is titled North Island Main Trunk (NIMT). This page is titled "South Island Main Trunk Railway" but abbreviated "SIMT". Why is the word "Railway" part of this article title? Schwede 66 17:49, 14 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
