(Proposed Edit) Use Sone canonically throughout the article

Son River might be confused with Son River in Vietnam. As an alternate spelling, Son is acceptable, but it is not phonetically correct and neither is it the canonically used spelling. The article has too much variation where it uses Son instead of Sone while the title is Sone. We should clean this up. Augustradjoe (talk) 05:35, 12 April 2026 (UTC)

I don't think there should be any confusion regarding which river article is referring to because the hatnote already mentions that this article is about the river in India and the first sentence of the lead states that Son River is an alt spelling. Either way, I'm okay with changing the spelling through out the article so that it's consistent and matches with the article title. EM (talk) 13:11, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
