Useful additions to the page

When I looked at this page I wondered:

1. When did it start?
2. How many have their been?
3. What impact has it had on policy, funding decisions, etc.?
4. Is the report published with a DOI? What papers of interest have referenced it?
5. What part do the DOE National Labs play in the process? The NSF? etc.

Sorry if any of these questions are out of scope but it sounds like an important process so the additional context would be useful.
