Snottites
[edit]the page is addressed as snotites but the page title is snottites with an additional 't' (unsigned)

The pages makes it unclear whether "snottites" are in fact bacteria or archea. Additionally there is no scientific name given. 92.20.103.111 (talk) 15:08, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Further to the previous comment, the reference cited for this article states that Snottites are colonies of archaea and not bacteria (although, the reference uses bacteria and archaea almost interchangeably, it's unclear which is correct!) Taward (talk) 15:05, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Snot - Slang?
[edit]Minor point, but, RE:

Dictionary.com says "Snot" has been in English since 1350, and is directly related to other Germanic language words for mucus. I think it's technically not slang. Booger is slang. Still, 'snot' is informal and at least slightly vulgar. Dan20001 (talk) 08:02, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
