Wasn't MS SmartDrive a licensed version of Norton SpeedDisk, with the more elaborate options removed ?

Windows 2.xx also shipped with smartdrv.sys

There was a smartdrv.sys given with Windows 2.xx (version 2.10 for my version of Windows/286 2.10). Unless this article is specifically about smartdrv.exe, then saying that it was shipped with Windows from 3.0 trough 3.11 is not factual, as 2.xx also comes with SmartDrive.
