"The modern sense of 'sexually promiscuous woman' dates to at least 1450.[10]" This is in error. The source, etymonline, indicates the sexually promiscuous woman denotation is not attested until 1966. --Gwynwas (talk) 14:31, 14 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @SigPig2, this was almost two years ago so I'm pinging you. The title is italicized because the article is about the word slut more than the concept "slut".
