There seems a subtle distinction here; I named the category "Slocan Country" while someone else had created Slocan Valley; almost synonymous except I think the former term includes Sandon et al., up to Retallack and Zincton while the latter does not....I think. "Slocan Valley" may also be more specifically used to mean from Slocan City south, i.e. the valley of hte SLocan River only, and not the Slocan Lake towns or the valley of Bonanza Creek/Summit Lake; I'll ask someone local I know although an actual citation of hte distinction may be harder to come up with; once established a comment in the lead on Slocan Valley would probably help.Skookum1 (talk) 12:44, 14 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
