To the former comment, Skagit Valley is not next to the Rosario Strait, it is next to Skagit Bay, which is also a strait. Rosario Strait is west of Skagit Bay. The Skagit Valley that Malvina Reynolds referred to in her song is at a different point along the Skagit, north of the border in British Columbia, Canada, within the Skagit Valley Provincial Park (which is why Reynolds makes reference to British Columbia and "Seattle USA" in the song). Malvina's song had nothing to do with attempts to build nuclear power plants in the US Skagit Valley region. This item should be removed and a disambiguation page should be created for these two notable "Skagit Valley"s. 72.177.51.231 (talk) 03:52, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
