Sitta (disambiguation) → Sitta – Flagpole Sitta makes it so that there is no primary topic for Sitta (and also gets more views than Nuthatch on average). Parallels can be drawn to Herre, where Hot In Herre is listed due to the vernacular spelling, which may lead people to search for the song based just on the uniquely spelled word. Not only that, Salman Abu Sitta is also a common search result for 'Sitta'. In solidarity, PokemonPerson (talk) 16:24, 15 June 2026 (UTC)

- Oppose. I don't see how Flagpole Sitta would challenge this for PTOPIC. It's a WP:PTM that seems quite unlikely that readers would only search for half of it. Scholar likes Almahata Sitta but there is nothing to indicate people refer to that as just "Sitta". Google results, regardless of what English-speaking country's region results I view, turn up the bird first and foremost and then its a mixture of the bird and mostly things we don't have an article on. I don't see enough here to deny the genus PTOPIC status. ⹃Maltazarian ᚾparleyinvestigateᛅ 02:56, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
