Sire is very archaic in French

As a frenchman, I can tell you that "sire" is a title use only in worlds of fiction taking place during the Middle Ages. Maybe old aristocratic french families still use it (I can't tell for sure but even that sounds very doubtful) but it is never heard outside of the context I just describe. 2A01:CB0C:358:1300:A9B0:76D3:7758:72F5 (talk) 18:52, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
