The given reference, http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/news/nation-world/crisis/theregion/turbans.html , does not mention the word "lungee". The OED gives lungee as a variant of lungi, ie a loin cloth or a length of cloth used to make one. Clarification please. Mr Stephen 11:44, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

The word "lungee" is just another common Farsi name for turban used in Afghanistan. In this case, its just another common word Afghans use to refer to a turban. 72.196.231.20 16:43, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
