In the relevant domain, German criminal law distinguishes between (1) "sexuelle Belästigung", (2) "sexuelle Nötigung", (3) "Vergewaltigung". (1), in English, is "sexual harrassment"; (3) means "rape". The court found Mauser guilty of (2) for which there is no standard English equivalent. German "nötigen" means "to force something [e.g., sex] upon somebody". The legal term "sexuelle Nötigung" covers grave cases of sexual harrassment, such as forcing another's hand on one's own genitals (as Mauser did, according to the court's findings).
