Make Video clip section a stand-alone-subject article

I agree with the addition of the template that states video clips are "distinct from short-form content despite being similar in nature (i.e. short-form content is typically shown as vertical video whereas video clips are short clips of a video format of any kind uploaded onto video sharing sites)."

While the length of short-form content is typically three minutes or less, video clips can be up to 15 minutes long. Video clips can also be in horizontal format.

Therefore, I think that the Video clip section does not belong in this article about short-form content and should be spun into an article of its own. Pyxis Solitary (yak). ⚢ 05:28, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

I think the information about video clips in this article can remain exactly what it is now, considering that splitting this information into a new article before has gotten somewhat complicated in the past, with some editors claiming that it contained information generated by AI, using LLMs, AI chatbots, and all sorts of other AI BS stuff like that when everything written in that article is written legitimately by humans since the 2000s and 2010s and does not compare to what AI can come up with as of 2026. (Believe me, because I've actually gotten a warning on my talk page about this, claiming that I've used LLMs and AI chatbots to create the article when I actually didn't, as it was entirely based off of an older revision of what is now known as "Short-form content", which I've just copypasted over to the new article.)

So I think the information can stay where it is now until a proper consensus is made. Until then, f--k AI. JWiki2151 (talk) 15:33, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

@JWiki2151: It's terrible that you were accused of using AI to create the Video clip article. I'm sorry that happened to you.
Based on what I've learned about Video clips, I believe they are six degrees of separation from Short-form content — they may be related but they're not identical. Pyxis Solitary (yak). ⚢ 06:22, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
