Lies about Kibbutz shomrat

[edit]

All claims that Kibbutz shomrat was founded on lands of al-Manshiyya or " incorporated some land from al-Sumayriyya" are lies and this is also contradicted in your articles and maps about these places: Kibbutz shomrat isn't even on the map of al-Sumayriyya whos graveyard could be seen near Regba and it wasn't some huge village. As for al-Manshiyya , that belonged to the Ottomans and their bahai faith who still have their shrine next to the kibbutz but are definitely not Palestinians. (And again a map that isn't anywhere close to Shomrat.

As person who grew up in Shomrat and knows the real history and was left-wing for many years , this whole farce puts in question a lot of the claims made by Palestinians regarding 1948 and the consequences of the war they've started back then.

Is this the Wikipedia I've been donating to? 31.154.49.101 (talk) 06:47, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

The boundary between the village lands of Manshiyya and Sumeiriya passed right through the built-up area of Shomrat. Incidentally, Wikipedia is very rich and doesn't need your donation. Zerotalk 10:59, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Name

[edit]

I believe this should be called "Shamrat", this is also reflected in the nikkud in the hebrew name in the first line of the article. Cumulus (talk) 09:11, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
