I have refreshed the multiple images in the infobox added to this wiki page. I'm open to discussion of these images are not suitable. If the images are not suitable please change. Be Bold Thanks MatthewDavid41

Article review

It has been a while since this article has been reviewed, so I took a look and noticed lots of uncited statements, including entire paragraphs. The article is also quite large and I think several sections can be summarised more effectively. Should this article go to WP:GAR? Z1720 (talk) 19:16, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

Use excerpt of lead from the Sport in Sheffield article eventually

The Sport in Sheffield article has multiple issues currently but if the standard of that article was improved, it's my view that using an excerpt of its lead might be a better approach than maintaining a summary of Sheffield Sport on this article as well as maintaining the main Sport in Sheffield article. @10mmsocket I'm sure we could take good sources from this article and add them to the Sport in Sheffield article if they are missing. That article is lacking references so it wouldn't be surprising.

I think that Sport in Sheffields lead is quite good but the body of the article needs a fair amount of work. So I'd start there and see if the article's lead is still fit for purpose. At that point I would swap out the Sheffield article's Sport section for the excerpt. Duncnbiscuit (talk) 08:09, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

Sheffield City centre image

that image is only of a small part of the city centre not the centre of the centre at all. It also does not do Sheffield justice. Please get it updated for the Sheffield panorama, if such an image can be sourced. From the top of Park Hill the view is very special and shows the entire centre. ~2026-46773-70 (talk) 20:15, 27 August 2026 (UTC)

Bit demanding there for a temporary account. Feel free to do it yourself. I do agree, though, that the current main infobox image is very poor. Night views are never great for this. Seasider53 (talk) 20:52, 27 August 2026 (UTC)
