Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: She passes WP:NPROF#C1 without much problem. But some of the references are wrong (e.g. [3]), none of her academic fellowships are included, her editor position is omitted and the page has lots of somewhat irrelevant details. The page should probably have been draftified sone time ago for cleanup. Please fix the page.

@Baberoothless, to put this in context
  1. Her being editor-in-chief of Journal of Inherited Metabolic Disease (JMID) and JIMD Reports by itself may be enough to pass WP:NPROF, but in the current draft it has the same emphasis as her being a senior advisor to the Society's Education and Training Committee.
  2. All academics teach, that is WP:MILL and never included.
  3. All academics review proposals and are on advisory committees. These have to be really senior to be more than WP:MILL.
  4. Her CV has "Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians", which is a peer recognition honor. A "fellowship" is a junior grant, rarely worth mentioning.
I tried to find some "good" example pages among her coauthors but could not find any to recommend. Ldm1954 (talk) 04:44, 24 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for this detailed response. Really appreciate it. I will fix this page accordingly, and keep these suggestions in mind for other pages that I create/edit related to academics as well. Baberoothless (talk) 08:04, 25 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
