@JoelleJay while I agree that the page as it stands is not well referenced and out of date and if unchanged may be warranted for deletion, I think the subject is notable in particular for work during the past eight years in the public health space. I don't have time to fully update now but there are articles and the subject has written pieces in the New York Times in 2021, US News, and the Stanford Social Innovation Review. Assistant profs, especially adjuncts, are very rarely notable, and her citation profile is not at the level we'd expect for a notable professor in her field. Writing pieces for lay media does not contribute to notability at all; what we'd need to see is numerous independent academic sources discussing specifically her research in depth (not just citing it, and not including discussions of papers she wasn't first or last author on). Not disagreeing with you about points you make but wondering if the person is notable even though the page as it stands doesn't reflect that. I noticed the page was created by @Elliedee January 2012 and was proposed for deletion by @Osarius a few minutes later - it looks like Elliedee removed the deletion tag but I'm not sure if there was discussion about it and why it remained up given lack of reliable secondary sources to establish notability. More recently the subject has articles where she is first or last author in publications that appear to be for the more general reader like eLife and Harvard Data Science Review. Are you suggesting the subject meets GNG with these sources? They definitely do not contribute to NPROF (nothing the subject publishes counts toward notability), so I don't understand what you mean by if it went for formal review with sources I'm mentioning it suspect would be a close call. Yes, I meant if I were to fix the page and add better sources it might pass with GNG. I think I’d end up with something better than the current page but it still might not pass review.
